A walk in the winter woods offers relief from the turbulent world: tree trunks stand solid and isolated; bare branches scrawl secret messages on the sky; shadows slide sinuously along hillsides; subtle colors—ochre, umber, sienna—blend into one another. Fog obscures the spaces in between, while snow reveals the hidden contours of the land. In silence and stillness, the heart finds space to open.
About the Edition
Each image is produced in a limited edition of 20 archival pigment prints, photographed, printed, and mounted on wooden panels by the artist. The panels measure 12" x 36" across the surface with a 1½" edge painted a dark brown-black to match the deepest shadows. An archival, UV filtering varnish is used to coat the prints to protect them from fading. It is still a good idea to keep prints out of direct sunlight.
