Tulips reveal surprising character and grace just before they begin to fade (though by that time most have been tossed into the trash). These portraits of individual blossoms expose their dramatic forms, textures, and colors.
About the Edition
Each image is produced in a limited edition of 20 archival pigment prints, photographed, printed, and mounted on wooden panels by the artist. The panels measure 12" x 12" across the surface with a 2" edge painted a dark purple-black to match the deepest shadows An archival, UV filtering varnish is used to coat the prints to protect them from fading. It is still a good idea to keep prints out of direct sunlight.
